How to remove mould from window sealant?

Overtime, mould may still begin to grow in and around your windows.

1. Wear safety equipment such as gloves and goggles, and be careful not to inhale or ingest any mould.
2. Ensure there is adequate ventilation in the room for the mould spores to escape.
3. Create a mixture that consists of 3 parts warm water, and 1 part bleach.
4. Dip a non-abrasive brush into the mixture and begin to scrub the mould off.
5. Repeat the above step as many times as necessary.
6. As the mould begins to loosen, use a clean rag to rub it away completely.
7. Allow the area to dry before closing the window.

How to replace old window sealant?

1. Use a sharp object to remove the old window sealant.
2. If that does not work, apply caulk remover to the window sealant and wait for about 2-3 hours.
3. Scrap away the old sealant and wipe the surface with a household cleaner or alcohol.
4. Ensure the area is dry before applying your new coat of window sealant.
