1. Qualifying Periods And Draw Dates

The qualifying period and draw date are as follows:
(Qualifying Period) 1 March – 30 April 2024

2. Eligibility

2.1 Subject to Clauses 2.2 and 2.3, the Lucky Draw is open to all Singapore citizens, permanent residents, valid employment pass and work permit holders, who are aged 18 years and above as of 1 August 2023 (collectively, the “Eligible Persons” and each, an “Eligible Person”).

2.2 Persons who are or were directors, officers or employees of Nippon Paint and/or its subsidiaries are not eligible to participate in the Lucky Draw.

2.3 Persons who are the directors and employees of

i) external auditors who are directly involved in the Lucky Draw (per Clauses 3.2 and 3.3 below); or

ii) advertising agencies;

iii) advisors;

iv) suppliers; or

v) any other parties who are directly involved in organising, promoting and/or conducting the Lucky Draw are not eligible to participate in the Lucky Draw.

3. Conduct Of The Draws And Announcement Of Draw Results

3.1 For the Draw, winners shall be selected at random, either by means of a computerised draw system or other means and methods (which may be manual or computerised) as Nippon Paint may determine in its sole and absolute discretion.

3.2 Nippon Paint’s determination of the Winners shall be deemed final, conclusive and binding. Nippon Paint is not obliged to provide any reasons or evidence for the draw results and will not entertain any correspondence or claims. Nippon Paint is also not obliged to inform or notify participants if they have been disqualified for any applicable reason.

3.3 Nippon Paint reserves the right to draw reserve winners to replace any Winner subsequently found to be disqualified.

3.4 The Winner for the Draw will be notified by a phone call based on the mobile number provided in the submitted entry form within seven (7) working days from the Draw Date.

4. Participation In The Lucky Draw

4.1 Subject to Clauses 4.2 and 4.3, each Eligible Person is allocated one (1) chance per receipt spend of $20 purchase at any Sheng Siong outlets during the Qualifying Period for the Draw. Photocopies of receipts are not acceptable. Nippon Paint does not accept any responsibility for receipts which are lost or damaged.

4.2 All personal information fields on the Portal must be duly and completely filled. Nippon Paint reserves the right but is not obliged to disqualify Participants with incomplete or illegible entries.

4.3 The total number of chances in the Draw allotted by Nippon Paint to an Eligible Person shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence shall be entertained.

5. Prizes

5.1 Unless otherwise indicated by Nippon Paint, the Draw Prizes are strictly non-transferable and are not exchangeable for credit or any other item.

5.2 Prize Winners must claim their Prizes within one (1) month of the date of notification via phone call (the “Claim Period”). Prize Winners are to collect their Prizes personally from 1 First Lok Yang Road, Jurong, Singapore 629728.

5.3 All Prizes which remain unclaimed after the Claim Period shall be forfeited and donated to any charitable organisation as Nippon Paint may in its sole and absolute discretion determine. Any person whose Prize has been forfeited shall not be entitled to any payment or compensation notwithstanding nonreceipt of notification.

5.4 If any person is subsequently discovered to be not entitled or ineligible to participate in the Lucky Draw or to receive the Prize(s), Nippon Paint reserves the right to forfeit or reclaim the Prize(s) in its sole and absolute discretion and confer the same on any other person as may be appointed or selected by Nippon Paint in any manner as Nippon Paint deems fit. Any person whose Prize(s) has been forfeited or reclaimed shall not be entitled to any payment or compensation. Nippon Paint and/or their agents, in administering the Lucky Draw may carry out employment background checks or any such investigations that Nippon Paint considers necessary or desirable for the purpose of verifying that a Winner is in compliance with these Terms and Conditions and any Prize may be withheld unless and until Nippon Paint is satisfied with such verification.

6. Use Of Participants’ Information And Publicity

6.1 All Participants in the Lucky Draw expressly and irrevocably permit and authorise Nippon Paint to use and/or disclose their personal information to the parties involved in organising, promoting and/or conducting the Lucky Draw for the purposes of the Lucky Draw.

6.2 The Winners expressly agree to the use and/or disclosure and/or publication of their names, any other of their particulars or photographs for any announcement, advertising, publicity or commercial purposes in such mode and manner as Nippon Paint may deem fit, to the extent permissible under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and the Personal Data Protection Regulations 2014.

6.3 The Winners expressly agree to attend any prize presentation ceremonies (if any) and co-operate or participate in any advertising, promotional or publicity activities relating to or in connection with the Lucky Draw at their own costs.

6.4 All Participants in the Lucky Draw acknowledges that he or she is authorised to disclose any personal information disclosed by him or her and expressly agree that Nippon Paint may use and/or disclose such personal information to related companies, sub-contractors and agents (including but not limited to third-party service providers) of Nippon Paint for planning, research, design and marketing of services, promotions and special offers relating to Nippon Paint’s business, without any payment or compensation thereof. The Participants have a right to request access to, correct their personal data, or may at any time withdraw their consent with respect to the collection, use or disclosure of their personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and the Personal Data Protection Regulations 2014 by giving written notice to Nippon Paint. To request access to, correction of personal data and the use and disclosure of personal data, please send all requests to customer@nipponpaint.com.sg and provide details of such withdrawal.
